The Constitutional Court made a decision

We previously reported that a meeting of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan was held on June 10, 2026.

Today, June 12, the Constitutional Court continued its work.

It considered the issue of determining the compliance of the fifth paragraph of the third part of Article 3 of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Advocacy" with Articles 29, 65, and 141 of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The court session was attended by representatives of the National Center for Human Rights, the Authorized Person of the Oliy Majlis for Human Rights (Ombudsman), the Prosecutor General's Office, the Ministry of Justice, and members of the Scientific Advisory Council under the Constitutional Court.

The Constitutional Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan, having comprehensively considered the issue, analyzed all relevant legislative acts and case materials, studied the opinions of the parties, specialists, and experts on the issue under discussion, and considered the submitted written proposals.

He heard the opinions of the members of the Scientific Advisory Council under the Constitutional Court.

The National Center of the Republic of Uzbekistan adopted a resolution on the compliance of the fifth paragraph of part three of Article 3 of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Advocacy" with Articles 29, 65, and 141 of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The decision of the Constitutional Court shall be published in the newspaper "Narodnoye Slovo," the "Collection of Legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan," the National Database of Legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and on the official website of the Constitutional Court.
